Former Commissioner for Employment Generation and Empowerment, Leloonu Nwibubasa, has said the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, is politically drowning and looking for everyone to blame.
Nwabubasa made the statement on Friday during an interview on Arise Television.
He accused Wike of not allowing Rivers people to rest and not allowing governance to take place in the state.
“He is not only attacking his successor, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, but also throwing tantrums and blaming outside actors that have nothing to do with politics in Rivers State.
“The FCT Minister has always been in news for wrong reason to stir the waters in Rivers State in such a direction that we all really wouldn’t understand why having left as governor eight years ago, will not allow rivers people to rest by allowing governance to take place in the state.
“So, you could see a man who, obviously, politically may be drowning, but looking for every person to blame. This is exactly the situation in Rivers state.
“It will be right to advise the FCT Minister, especially now that he does not belong to any political party, that he cannot continue to play politics in Rivers state in such a way that he does not belong to one party,” the ex-commissioner said.
