As Muslims around the world celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Muslims in Nigeria and across the globe. This occasion marks a significant event in the Islamic calendar, known as Mawlid al-Nabi, which commemorates the birth of the Prophet Muhammad.
In his statement issued on Sunday, Ganduje highlighted the importance of this day as a time to reflect on the profound teachings and exemplary life of the Prophet. He emphasized that Prophet Muhammad’s life is a model of peace, love, and compassion. His actions and teachings serve as a guiding light for millions of Muslims and non-Muslims alike, demonstrating the values of kindness, humility, and leadership.

Dr. Ganduje urged Muslims to use this occasion to reflect deeply on the Prophet’s life and to strive to incorporate his noble qualities into their own lives. He noted that the Prophet Muhammad was a paragon of wisdom and kindness, and his life is an enduring example of moral and ethical leadership. By emulating these qualities, Muslims can contribute positively to their communities and society at large.

The APC Chairman reminded party members and all Muslims that the Prophet’s message is not only a source of hope but also a call to action. He stressed the importance of recommitting to the principles of justice, equality, and fairness that were central to the Prophet’s teachings. Ganduje called on everyone to take this opportunity to renew their dedication to these values, which are crucial for building a just and equitable society.
He also urged all Muslims to pray for peace, stability, and prosperity in Nigeria. Ganduje highlighted that the blessings of Allah are essential for the nation’s progress and for ensuring that the teachings of Prophet Muhammad continue to guide individuals and communities. In his view, fostering an environment of peace and stability is vital for national development and for improving the quality of life for all citizens.

In the spirit of this significant occasion, Ganduje encouraged all Nigerians to reaffirm their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He pointed out that President Tinubu is leading a comprehensive economic revitalization agenda aimed at transforming Nigeria’s economy and enhancing the standard of living for its people. Ganduje emphasized that this period of celebration should also be a time for Nigerians to unite in support of the President’s efforts, which are driven by a strong commitment to positive change.
Dr. Ganduje’s message underscored the importance of this special occasion for personal reflection, community solidarity, and national progress. He called on all Muslims and Nigerians to embrace the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, to work together for a better society, and to support efforts aimed at improving the nation’s future.
