Meghan Trainor has opened up about the unintended consequences of excessive Botox injections, revealing that the treatment has left her unable to smile properly. The 30-year-old pop star shared her experience on her ‘Workin on It’ podcast, where she explained how she experimented with Botox in various areas of her face, including her forehead, in an effort to enhance her appearance.

Trainor admitted that she was convinced to try a “lip flip” procedure to make her upper lip fuller, but the results were not what she expected. “I got too much Botox and I need help!” she confessed, acknowledging that while she had received Botox before, this time she ventured into a new area of her face, which led to complications.

The singer said that after the procedure, she found herself unable to smile properly. “I cannot smile anymore,” she said, showing how limited her smile had become. “Look, this is as big as I can smile.” The discomfort was significant enough that even attempting to smile caused pain, making it a daily struggle for the star.

Trainor’s disclosure highlights the potential risks and challenges of cosmetic procedures, even when they seem minor. She also emphasized the pressure of societal beauty standards that led her to try such treatments in the first place.

Despite the mishap, Trainor’s candidness about her experience is helping raise awareness about the realities of Botox treatments and the importance of consulting with professionals to avoid adverse effects.
