The January transfer window is entering its final days, with clubs across Europe making moves to strengthen their squads. Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and others are all actively pursuing targets in the market.
Arsenal remains focused on signing a forward, with RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko reportedly eager to join Mikel Arteta’s team. However, Wolves have firmly stated that Matheus Cunha is not for sale, dealing a blow to the Gunners’ potential plans.
Chelsea is also in the spotlight with reported interest in Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho. Meanwhile, United has expressed interest in Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku, sparking rumours of a potential swap deal. Talks are said to have taken place, but no decision has been finalised yet.
Elsewhere, Robert Lewandowski has been offered a massive €50 million-a-year deal by an unnamed Saudi Pro League club. The Barcelona striker, whose contract expires in 2026, could make a decision this summer.
In La Liga, Real Betis is close to finalising a loan move for Manchester United’s Antony, with reports suggesting the Spanish club will cover 85% of his wages. Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur is leading the race to sign Angel Gomes, with the Lille midfielder reportedly keen on a free transfer in the summer.
Real Madrid, on the other hand, is reportedly closing in on Trent Alexander-Arnold for the summer transfer window, with Marca claiming an agreement is well advanced.
