JUST IN: BARACK OBAMA ENDORSES KAMALA HARRIS FOR PRESIDENT

Former United States President Barack Obama officially endorsed his fellow Democrat, Kamala Harris, in her bid for the Presidency of the United States. Obama’s endorsement is a significant boost to Harris’ campaign as she seeks to defeat Donald Trump in the upcoming November presidential election. In a statement released on a social media platform, Obama expressed his confidence in Harris’ ability to lead the country and stated that she has his full support. He emphasized the importance of this moment for the country and pledged to do everything in his power to ensure Harris’ victory in the election. Obama encouraged others to join him in supporting Harris in her campaign. As one of the key figures within the Democratic party, Obama’s endorsement adds further momentum to Harris’ campaign, which has already garnered strong support since her last-minute decision to enter the race.

Harris, who is 59 years old, entered the election following concerns surrounding President Joe Biden’s performance during debates and his low polling numbers, ultimately leading to his withdrawal from the race and his endorsement of Harris. Senator Harris launched a strong condemnation of President Trump and his “extremist” Republican supporters during her address to educators on Thursday. Former President Donald Trump appeared to be caught off guard by the momentum of her campaign, as he refused to schedule a debate with her, stating that it would be inappropriate until she was officially named the Democratic nominee. Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung suggested that Democrats may still change their nominee.

In response, Senator Harris, a former top prosecutor for California, criticized her opponent for his reluctance to debate, questioning what had happened to his previous stance of being willing to debate at any time and any place. She had previously expressed her readiness for a potential face-off on September 10.
Key unions seem to be backing Kamala Harris’s campaign as “The American Federation of Teachers”, has endorsed Senator Harris during its convention in Houston. Senator Harris warned that the country was currently facing a significant threat from Trump’s Republican supporters, who are launching attacks on hard-fought freedoms. She emphasized that while educators strive to teach students about democracy and government, extremists are actively working to undermine the freedom to vote and the safety of our communities from gun violence. It was falsely claimed that she supported the “execution” of newborn babies. Trump, the oldest presidential nominee in US history at 78 years old, vowed that he would not allocate any federal funds to schools with vaccine mandates. It is worth noting that all public schools in the United States have vaccine mandates.
