Galatasaray have sent initial bid for Victor Osimhen for €50m plus €5m, while Napoli want more. Osimhen has shown interest to return to Galatasaray but the deal depends on club to club talks.
Recall, in early June, Saudi Pro League club side, Al Hilal, demonstrated keen interest in signing Victor Osimhen from Napoli. Al Hilal improved its proposal to over €70m to Napoli and higher salary to Osimhen. However, the deal wasn’t concluded on club to club talks.
Recently, Al Hilal has opted to further reviewed its proposal upwards and presented to Napoli, for the Nigerian star striker. Al Hilal remain involved in race with plan to pay €75m clause but no agreement with Victor yet.
Osimhen who was on loan at Galatasaray, in the 2024/25 season has since returned to Napoli. Osimhen had a sensational season with Galatasaray scoring 33 goals (28 goals and 5 assists) in 32 appearances across all competitions. He won the Turkish Super Cup and League title with Galatasaray with an impressive performance.
Among the top clubs interested in signing the 26-year old, Saudi Pro League side, Al Hilal, and Turkish League current champions, Galatasaray seem more keen.
Al Hilal signed a new coach in June, Simone Inzaghi, and ready to build a formidable and competitive team. Galatasaray on the other, have signed Leroy Sané on free transfer, and currently solidifying its team strength to defend the title championship.
Although, Osimhen is reported interested in Galatasaray where he felt at home with extraordinary love from the fans, the deal depends on Napoli’s position on his release clause.
