The Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, announced on Thursday that a new curriculum will be implemented for secondary schools nationwide by September 2024.
Mamman made this announcement at the ongoing 2024 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board policy meeting in Abuja. He stated that significant efforts are being made to ensure the introduction of a new curriculum for secondary schools by September. Mamman highlighted that this initiative has been in progress for the past year, and a stakeholders meeting is scheduled to take place on August 6, 2024.

The minister emphasized that the goal is to fully implement this program in all schools, both public and private, by September.
