The Labour Party Senator who lend his voice during Sunday’s edition of Inside Sources with Laolu Akande on Channels TV, faulted the twin policies of petrol subsidy removal and unification of forex windows by the President Bola Tinubu administration.
The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions pointed out that as the country does not produce but rather relies on import, devaluing our naira, was not going to be of any help to the economy, that is tied to the surging dollar.
According to him, the FG must invest in developing our industries, adding that SMEs have the potential to strengthen the economy and give the middle class breathing space to do what he has to do.

The Senator emphasised the role the state governments have to play in alleviating the suffering of the people accusing many of failing in these duty.
