With palpable excitement, Maresca expressed his readiness to embark on what he described as a fantastic journey at Stamford Bridge.”Very happy, excited.
It will be a fantastic journey,” Maresca emphasized, reflecting his eagerness to begin working with the squad. Having previously enjoyed success at Leicester City, Maresca highlighted the importance of his initial days at Chelsea, focusing on familiarizing himself with the club’s environment and personnel.

He expressed particular enthusiasm about collaborating with Chelsea’s talented roster.”I am here because I firmly believe in the squad’s potential,” Maresca noted, underlining his commitment to player development as pivotal to team improvement.
Discussing his coaching philosophy, Maresca stressed the significance of establishing a distinct playing style while acknowledging his past achievements. “It’s already finished now. new chapter, new squad, new club,” he remarked, signaling a fresh start at Chelsea.

Understanding Chelsea’s storied history and high expectations, Maresca affirmed his dedication to maintaining a winning mentality. “Joining a club like Chelsea means embracing the ethos of winning,” he affirmed.

Maresca also emphasized the importance of forging a strong bond with Chelsea supporters and instilling a culture that fans can take pride in. “We need to foster the right mentality and culture quickly, one that the fans can rally behind,” he explained.
In terms of gameplay, Maresca outlined his intention to implement an aggressive style both on and off the ball, aiming to establish a connection between the team’s performance and fan enthusiasm.
He underscored the importance of developing personal relationships with players beyond match days.”It’s crucial to build relationships day by day with each individual,” Maresca noted, highlighting the interpersonal dynamics that contribute to team cohesion and performance.
Addressing Chelsea fans directly, Maresca called for patience and steadfast support. “Trust the process and the vision. By standing behind the team, we will undoubtedly enjoy our journey together,” he concluded, setting a positive tone for the upcoming season under his leadership at Chelsea FC.
