Greenville LNG awarded ‘Nigeria’s Most Reliable Domestic Gas Distributing Company of the Year’ Award

Greenville LNG, the pioneering and leading organized private sector gas infrastructure development, production, and distribution company in Nigeria, has been announced as the winner of the “Gas Distribution Company” award.
“Most Reliable Domestic Gas Distributing Company of the Year” in Nigeria.
Greenville LNG has won the coveted award at the highly competitive and highly anticipated annual transportation awards ceremony hosted by the nation’s leading transportation industry media agency, TransportDay Media.
The ceremony has become a landmark annual event that defines the best transport and safety standards and practices in Nigeria, attended by elites in the field of management and transport trucks as well as executives of other industrial companies with large logistics operations nationwide.


The exciting ceremony was held last Thursday at the iconic Radisson Blu Hotel in Ikeja Lagos, Nigeria. TransportDay Media Foundation publisher and editor Frank Kintum kicked off proceedings at this year’s ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the TransportDay Conference and Awards with a welcoming address celebrating resilience, progressive improvements, and achievements this year – more than a year of responding proactively, determinedly and patriotically to clear operational challenges in the transportation sector, especially in infrastructure, regulation, and financing.

Participants of the event included the Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the Director General of the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), the Director General of the Nigerian Airports Authority (NCAA), the Director General of the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT) and Honorary Commissioner for Transport, Lagos State; all presented papers during the event’s presentations.
Others who attended the ceremony and also received various award categories included Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, Toyota, Nigerian Railway Corporation, Infinity Tires, Kaduna Dry Port, etc. This year’s TranportDay media conference and awards ceremony is themed “Road Safety in Nigeria – The Way Ahead”. Greenville LNG is Nigeria’s leading private-sector producer and marketer of LNG and CNG for the domestic market.
Thanks to the company’s efficient virtual pipeline system, which includes about 600 specialized LNG-powered gas transport trucks capable of traveling about 1,200 to 1,800 km without refueling, Grenville, from the factory Rumuji Gas and its gas hubs, brings sustainable and reliable LNG and CNG power supply to all regions of Nigeria.
With service stations in Rumuji, Benin, Shagamu, Koton-Karfe, and Kaduna, as well as the Lafia station soon to be commissioned and the Enugu station being developed in phases, Greenville LNG is actively working to open 25 centers to be able to provide cost-saving services.
