Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said that he cries for Nigeria because of its high level of sentiments.
Wike made this statement on Thursday at a media briefing shortly after the FCT Executive Committee meeting.
He was speaking about the reaction of Nigerians to the incident between him and a military officer.
Recall that the Minister and some officials of the FCT Authority on Tuesday clashed with soldiers in Abuja over access to a land.
“Nobody knows the day he will die or how he will die. I cry for this country because we either tribalize everything that happens or bring religion into what we are doing.
“No country, no matter how hard you work, can ever succeed if we continue to allow impunity and lawlessness,” Wike said.
