Former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has alleged that his successor, Governor Uba Sani is sponsoring terrorism in the state.
El-Rufai, who described Sani as his godson, lamented the governor’s failure to follow his footsteps of peace.
The former governor said this in a video while condemning the attack on some members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), during a gathering in Kaduna.
There was pandemonium on Saturday during the inauguration of a transition committee formed by opposition parties in Kaduna State.
Thugs had disrupted the inauguration while attacking participants and damaging property.
The thugs, armed with cutlasses, clubs, and stones, were said to have attacked, injured several people and destroyed vehicles.
However, El-Rufai said, “We don’t stop people from enjoying their freedom, but unfortunately, my godson, Governor Uba Sani, whom I thought had been following my principles of peace, is the one sponsoring this kind of terrorism.”
