A prominent Katsina-based activist and All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Hajia Zainab Saida, has expressed her unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing his significant strides in economic, social, and political reforms as reasons he deserves a second term in office.
Saida, who founded the Neighborhood Committee Network (NCN), a community-driven initiative promoting governance and social cohesion, dismissed critics of Tinubu’s administration as envious detractors. She urged Nigerians to remain patient and give the President’s policies time to yield tangible results.
“Tinubu’s leadership is rooted in good intentions. Critics like Kwankwaso, Peter Obi, and Atiku are merely mourning their past political losses,” she said. “We in Katsina will vote for Tinubu and Dikko Radda again come 2027.”
Saida mentioned Tinubu’s achievements, including granting local governments financial autonomy, which she believes will directly benefit grassroots communities by reducing poverty through improved access to council funds starting this month.
She also pointed out the administration’s focus on enhancing security and encouraging local petroleum refining, which she said would curb inflation and solidify the ongoing economic reforms. “Some policies may not yield immediate results, but they are designed for long-term benefits,” Saida explained.
