PARISOLYMPICS 2024: DSTV AND GOTV ANNOUNCES LIVE BROADCAST OF ALL EVENTS

MultiChoice Nigeria is pleased to announce that the 2024 Olympics, set to take place in Paris, France, will be broadcast live on SuperSport channels, accessible on DStv and GOtv. The coverage will begin with the opening ceremony on July 26th, airing live on DStv channel 203 and GOtv channel 61 at 6:30 pm.

A total of 82 athletes will represent Nigeria at the games, which are scheduled to run from July 26th to August 11th. Nigeria will be competing in 11 events, including football, basketball, long jump, and weightlifting. The 2024 Olympic Games are expected to feature around 10,500 athletes.

In a statement regarding the broadcast plan, Tope Oshunkeye, Executive Head of Marketing for MultiChoice West Africa, emphasized that DStv and GOtv customers will have access to live coverage of the various events on all SuperSport channels.

“As part of our ongoing commitment to providing top-quality sports content to the Nigerian audience, we will broadcast the games on multiple SuperSport channels, including dedicated pop-up channels on both DStv and GOtv. The Olympics represent the pinnacle of athletic competition, and we are proud to offer our customers the opportunity to witness history in the making and to support our Nigerian athletes as they compete on the global stage.”

“For the entirety of the games,” he stated.
