Ambassador Dagogo Fubara is drawing considerable support from a wide range of stakeholders as he campaigns for the chairmanship of Bonny Local Government in the upcoming October 5, 2024 election in Rivers State. His candidacy is being backed by a diverse coalition of councilorship candidates from various political parties, reflecting a broad-based endorsement of his vision and leadership.

Dagogo Fubara, who is running under the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), has recently garnered endorsements from about 8 of the 12 ward councilorship aspirants in Bonny. His candidacy has been particularly noteworthy since he joined the NNPP, with key political figures across different parties rallying behind him. The support highlights his strong position as a leading contender in the forthcoming election.

Previously affiliated with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and serving as the Director General of the APC State Assembly Forum (ASAF), Fubara has made a significant impact in local politics. His recent shift to the NNPP has been marked by widespread endorsements from various Bonny stakeholders who are impressed by his strategic plan for the area’s development.

The councilorship aspirants who support Fubara come from several political parties, including the PDP, LP, NNPP, APP, SDP, YPP, and ADC. They have reviewed all the candidates running for the election and have concluded that Fubara’s development blueprint stands out. According to a statement from key aspirants such as Comrade Emmanuel J. Green, Ebenezer Jumbo, Mrs. Boma T. Finecountry, and Comrade Ibitamuno Longjohn, have decided to support Fubara despite their political affiliations. They believe his plan offers the best opportunity to advance the development of Bonny Local Government.

In their statement, these aspirants emphasized that Bonny, while an important economic hub in Nigeria, has not received the level of development it deserves. They view the upcoming local government election as a crucial opportunity to begin addressing this disparity and initiating positive change. Their united support for Fubara reflects a collective desire to see meaningful progress in their community.

The aspirants pointed out that although they will continue to run for their respective councilor positions under their party banners, they will actively campaign for Fubara. They are convinced that his vision and commitment to transforming Bonny will benefit the local government area as a whole.
The backing from these councilorship candidates, along with endorsements from various influential figures, highlights Fubara’s growing influence and the broad-based support he enjoys. This coalition of support is seen as a strong testament to his capability and the potential impact of his proposed policies.

Ambassador Dagogo Fubara is receiving widespread support from a diverse group of political aspirants and stakeholders as he aims for the chairmanship of Bonny Local Government. His endorsement by candidates from multiple parties and his comprehensive development plan are seen as key factors driving his campaign success. As the election approaches, the unified backing from these stakeholders is expected to play a significant role in his bid to lead Bonny into a new era of growth and development.
