Sanwo-Olu, Adelabu Celebrate FIRS Chair Adedeji’s 47th Birthday

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, have honored the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Dr. Zaccheus Adedeji, on his 47th birthday. Both leaders praised his transformative leadership and dedication to Nigeria’s economic growth.

In a heartfelt message shared on his X account, Sanwo-Olu described Adedeji as a “friend and brother” whose remarkable contributions to national development have left an indelible mark. He commended Adedeji’s exceptional leadership at the FIRS, emphasizing the significant impact of his work on Nigeria’s revenue system and economic stability.

Chief Adelabu, through his Special Adviser on Media Relations, Bolaji Tunji, highlighted Adedeji’s exemplary stewardship at the FIRS. He noted the unprecedented transformation and growth in revenue generation under Adedeji’s leadership, calling it a game-changer for Nigeria’s economy. Adelabu expressed admiration for Adedeji’s passion and collaborative spirit, which he believes continue to inspire excellence across public service.

The minister further applauded Adedeji’s efforts to promote transparency and accountability in the nation’s revenue collection processes. He emphasized the respect Adedeji commands both within and beyond Nigeria for his commitment to good governance and public service.
