The candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), in the November 8 Anambra State governorship election, John Nwosu, has criticised the incumbent governor Chukuwma Soludo, saying he has not done well for the people of the state.
Nwosu made this allegation on Monday while responding to questions in an interview on ‘Prime Time’, a programme on Arise Television.
“Four years in the life of a state is very important. As a matter of fact, the incumbent governor has not done well for the state.
“The indices are there for everyone to see, starting with insecurity. In the last three and a half years, Anambra has lost people in the name of kidnappings.
“Ihiala Local Government, which is home to the owner of Air Peace has been ravaged by insecurity for the last three and half years. People from that area have not been going home. They have been holding weddings and burials outside their country home because of insecurity,” he said.
