Steel Minister Audu Calls for Faith and Unity Amid Eid-el-Kabir Celebration

The Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, extends his heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah as they globally observe the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir celebration. He calls upon Nigerians to continue having faith in the ‘Renewed Hope’ administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
Prince Audu’s Eid-el-Kabir message was communicated through a statement released by his Special Assistant on Media, Lizzy Okoji, on Sunday in Abuja.
The Minister further urges Nigerians and Muslim adherents to contemplate the sacrifices and obedience displayed by Prophet Ibrahim, who unwaveringly trusted in Almighty Allah (SWT) during his most challenging times, and reaped rewards thereafter. He emphasizes that the current sacrifices and tribulations faced by the nation will soon yield positive outcomes, ushering in the fruits of democracy, effective governance, and an improved standard of living for all citizens, as envisioned by the comprehensive policies and daring reform programs of President Tinubu.

He implores Nigerians not to waver in their prayers for the nation, emphasizing the importance of patriotism as well as the necessity of collaborating in peace, unity, and harmony for the nation’s progress. He notes that the electoral period has concluded, and now is the time for nation-building and good governance, regardless of political, ethical, or religious differences.
Prince Audu also highlights that Nigeria’s twenty-five years of uninterrupted democracy in the fourth republic should not be taken for granted, showcasing the nation’s strength. He adds that “though tribes and tongues may differ, in brotherhood we MUST continue to stand.”
The Minister encourages citizens to remember, celebrate, and extend generosity to fellow compatriots who are disadvantaged, reminding them of the teachings of peace and charitable giving of Prophet Mohammed (SAW).
He also reaffirms his dedication to fulfilling his mandate of revitalizing the steel industry in alignment with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at propelling the economy to surpass $1 trillion by 2031 and generating numerous employment opportunities for Nigerians, particularly the youth, thereby positioning Nigeria as a global investment hub, among other initiatives.
“On behalf of myself, my family, and the entire staff of the Federal Ministry of Steel Development, I wish the President and Nigerians a joyous Eid-el-Kabir celebration,”Prince Audu expressed.
