Tinubu Needs Time to Fix Nigeria, Protest Not Solution To Hardship -Hon. Olaolu

The Senior Special Assistant on Students’ Affairs to the Ondo State Government, Hon. Kevin Solomon Olaolu, has issued an appeal to Nigerian students, urging them to disregard recent calls for a national protest. He emphasized that the Federal Government needs additional time to effectively address the pressing issues currently confronting the nation.

In his statement, Hon. Olaolu acknowledged the hardships faced by Nigerians across various sectors, particularly in economic stability and educational advancement, under the current administration led by Bola Tinubu. He assured students that the government is not indifferent to these challenges and is actively working towards solutions.
“The challenges we face today, especially in economic security and education, require collective patience and support from all students,” Olaolu stated. He reiterated the importance of patience in achieving the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda, a government initiative aimed at fostering positive transformation and development nationwide.

“In the spirit of unity and progress, I appeal for peace among all Nigerian students,” Olaolu continued. He emphasized the significance of constructive engagement and dialogue as crucial tools in addressing the nation’s myriad challenges. “Peaceful dialogue allows us to find common ground and sustainable solutions that benefit all.”
Olaolu underscored that the students of Ondo State are firmly committed to peaceful coexistence and do not align with any plans for protests, violence, or destruction of public property. He emphasized that meaningful change takes time, citing the proverbial wisdom that “Rome wasn’t built in a day.”
“It is essential for us to remain steadfast in our commitment to the progress and prosperity of our great nation,” Olaolu emphasized. He expressed confidence that by working together, Nigerians can surmount their challenges and collectively build a brighter future for the country. “Nigeria’s greatness lies in our unity and resilience.”

Furthermore, Olaolu encouraged students to actively participate in constructive civic engagement rather than resorting to disruptive actions. He highlighted the importance of respecting public institutions and property as integral to the democratic process.
“As students, your voice is powerful, and your actions can shape the future of our nation,” Olaolu affirmed. He urged students to channel their energies into productive activities that contribute positively to society and advocate for change through lawful and peaceful means.

Hon. Kevin Solomon Olaolu reiterated his call for patience, unity, and constructive engagement among Nigerian students. He appealed for support for the government’s efforts to address national challenges and reiterated his belief in Nigeria’s potential for greatness.
“As we navigate these challenging times, let us remember that together, we can overcome any obstacle and achieve our collective aspirations,” Olaolu concluded. He urged students to remain hopeful and proactive in contributing to a prosperous future for Nigeria.
