The chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, has expressed his appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for appointing Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack as the Head of the Civil Service of Nigeria. Tompolo hailed the appointment as a significant honor for the South-South geopolitical zone.
In his message, Tompolo conveyed deep gratitude to President Tinubu for selecting Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, a native of Bayelsa State, for the esteemed position of Head of the Civil Service of the Federation. He emphasized the pride felt by the people of the South-South over her appointment, viewing it as a recognition of their region’s talent and capability.
“Mr. President Sir, I am conveying this message to you on behalf of the good people of the South-South geopolitical zone, who have mandated me to express their profound gratitude to you for this great honor of appointing their illustrious daughter and sister to the exalted position,” Tompolo stated.

He described the appointment as well-thought-out and pledged the region’s commitment to reciprocate the gesture and support further positive initiatives.
“As I assured you in the past, we will continue to work and support you to achieve and surpass your promises to Nigerians as espoused in the Renewed Hope Agenda mantra,” Tompolo affirmed.
The appointment of Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack has been widely regarded as a significant development within the South-South geopolitical zone, known for its rich cultural heritage and contributions to Nigeria’s civil service. Mrs. Walson-Jack brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role, having previously served diligently in various capacities within the federal bureaucracy.
Born in Bayelsa State, Mrs. Walson-Jack’s ascent to the position of Head of the Civil Service of the Federation marks a milestone for women empowerment and regional representation in Nigeria’s governance structure. Her appointment has been applauded not only for its meritocratic basis but also for the inclusive message it sends to diverse segments of Nigerian society.
Tompolo’s commendation of President Tinubu’s decision reflects broader sentiments of approval and optimism within the South-South region. It underscores a belief in the importance of equitable representation and recognition of talent irrespective of geographical origin.

Tompolo further highlighted the role of Mrs. Walson-Jack’s appointment in fostering unity and inclusivity across Nigeria’s geopolitical divides. He expressed hope that her leadership would inspire greater confidence in the civil service and contribute to the realization of national development goals.
As the South-South region looks forward to Mrs. Walson-Jack’s tenure, there is anticipation of positive reforms and initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, transparency, and service delivery within the federal bureaucracy. Her leadership is expected to prioritize meritocracy, professionalism, and ethical conduct, thereby setting a benchmark for civil service excellence.
Tompolo’s message of appreciation to President Tinubu encapsulates not only the pride of the South-South region but also a commitment to collaborative governance and national unity. The appointment of Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack signifies a milestone in Nigeria’s journey towards inclusive leadership and underscores the potential for transformative change within the civil service.
Looking ahead, there is optimism that Mrs. Walson-Jack’s stewardship will usher in a new era of efficiency and effectiveness in public administration, thereby contributing to the overall development and prosperity of Nigeria.
