Uruguayan forward Edinson Cavani, renowned as “El Matador,” officially declared the conclusion of his illustrious international career at the age of 37.
Cavani, the second-highest goal scorer in Uruguayan history and third in terms of appearances netting 58 goals in 136 matches, expressed profound gratitude for the opportunity to represent his beloved nation. In a heartfelt message shared on social media, he dedicated his decision to retire to the cherished Celeste, the affectionate moniker for the Uruguayan national squad.
