In a noteworthy display of commitment to youth development, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kogi State, Hon. Ali Bello, has launched a youth empowerment initiative. This program aims to provide financial support to deserving young individuals, enhancing their economic prospects and further encourage community growth.
In the cause of this inaugural phase of the empowerment, the Chief of Staff has embraced the “charity begins at home” adage; with about eighteen (18) outstanding Agassa/Ahache/Upogoro youths/entrepreneurs. The beneficiaries of this maiden phase of the empowerment scheme include tailors, farmers, traders, motorcyclists, taxi drivers, among others.
These beneficiaries are:

3. Shaibu Hassan – ₦500,000
4. Salihu Abdulahi – ₦600,000
5. Bello Lukman – ₦500,000
6. Ahmed Abdulhakeem – ₦500,000

8. Ogambo Mateen – ₦500,000
9. Momoh Jibril – ₦500,000
10. Yakubu Majeed – ₦500,000
11. Yusuf Abdullahi Onimisi – ₦500,000

This empowerment initiative will have a positive impact on the beneficiaries, enabling them to pursue entrepreneurial ventures and vocational trainings.
The Chief of Staff, Hon. Ali Bello in his remark appreciated the Governor, H.E Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the opportunity given and also encouraged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the empowerment benefits as he eagerly looks forward to witnessing the positive change it will bring into their lives and communities. He also reiterated the commitment of the government and the Governor to further empower the people more, especially youths, ensuring they have access to the resources needed to thrive in their various fields.
