The Presidency has declared Tinubu 2027 re-election inevitable, dismissing Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi as non-threats.
Special Adviser on Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confidently said Tinubu’s achievements will secure victory again in 2027.
Onanuga made these remarks during a Thursday interview on Arise Television’s Prime Time political affairs programme.
He emphasized that the coalition between Labour Party and ADC cannot match Tinubu’s popularity or political structure.
According to him, “There’s no way Atiku and Obi together can defeat Tinubu-Shettima in any real scenario.”
He said the APC does not fear the ADC coalition, describing their 2027 ambition as premature political noise.
“People are jumping the gun,” Onanuga added, stressing that it’s too early to start presidential campaigns in earnest.
He also denied any presidential interference in ADC’s current internal crisis, blaming it instead on weak strategy.
Onanuga highlighted Tinubu 2027 re-election strategy will benefit from northern support due to equitable federal appointments so far.
He praised Tinubu’s inclusive governance, pointing out strong representation of North-West and North-East in key federal roles.
He claimed people making noise against Tinubu are not reflecting the economic reality many Nigerians are actually experiencing.
Atiku’s repeated failures, Onanuga said, prove he lacks the national appeal needed to win a presidential contest.
Obi, he added, would not significantly boost Atiku’s chances if paired again as running mate in 2027.
Tinubu’s Record Guarantees 2027 Victory
According to Onanuga, Tinubu’s administration has delivered governance that earns grassroots support and long-term political loyalty across regions.
He believes APC will benefit electorally from its economic reforms and targeted youth empowerment schemes nationwide.
Tinubu’s 2027 re-election, Onanuga argued, is already aligning with public sentiment and visible national development projects.
He concluded that Tinubu 2027 re-election will reflect gratitude from Nigerians who have benefited from his bold leadership actions.
Onanuga said, “At the right time, President Tinubu will activate that support to secure another mandate.”
