The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has distributed a total of ₦1.818 trillion revenue generated in June 2025.

The allocation, made during FAAC’s July meeting in Abuja, covered statutory allocations, VAT proceeds, and various financial interventions.

According to a communiqué by the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation, total gross revenue for June hit ₦4.232 trillion.

This revenue included ₦1.018 trillion from statutory sources, ₦631.507 billion VAT, and ₦29.165 billion Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL).

Also included was ₦38.849 billion from Exchange Difference revenue and ₦100 billion augmentation from Non-Mineral revenue sources.

After deducting ₦162.786 billion for collection costs and ₦2.251 trillion for refunds and interventions, ₦1.818 trillion remained.

From the distributed revenue, the Federal Government received ₦645.383 billion, while states got ₦607.417 billion in total disbursement.

Local government councils received ₦444.853 billion, and oil-producing states shared ₦120.759 billion as 13% derivation allocation.

The gross statutory revenue for June stood at ₦3.485 trillion—₦1.39 trillion higher than May’s ₦2.094 trillion.

Conversely, VAT collections declined to ₦678.165 billion in June from ₦742.820 billion in May—a shortfall of ₦64.655 billion.

Out of the ₦1.018 trillion statutory revenue, the Federal Government took ₦474.455 billion, while states got ₦240.650 billion.

Local governments received ₦185.531 billion from the same pool, with ₦118.256 billion shared as mineral derivation revenue.

From the ₦631.507 billion VAT pool, FG got ₦94.726 billion, states received ₦315.754 billion, and LGs received ₦221.027 billion.

Additionally, from the ₦29.165 billion EMTL, FG received ₦4.375 billion, states got ₦14.582 billion, and LGs received ₦10.208 billion.

The ₦38.849 billion Exchange Difference revenue was also split—FG took ₦19.147 billion, and states received ₦9.712 billion.

Local governments got ₦7.487 billion, while ₦2.503 billion was paid to oil-producing states as derivation revenue share.

FAAC also distributed ₦100 billion from augmentation funds—₦52.680 billion to FG, ₦26.720 billion to states, ₦20.600 billion to LGs.

Meanwhile, June saw increases in Companies Income Tax, Petroleum Profit Tax, and EMTL, despite drops in VAT and Import Duties.

The FAAC communiqué noted considerable reductions in Oil and Gas Royalty, Excise Duty, and Common External Tariff (CET) levies.
