Governor Uba Sani has reaffirmed that no government truly fights for justice while funding bandits.
Speaking Thursday on Arise Television’s Prime Time, Governor Uba Sani dismissed the idea of paying bandits as unjust and counterproductive. Instead, the Kaduna State governor said his administration is fully focused on helping victims of Kaduna insecurity.
According to Sani, the Northwest crisis is driven more by economic factors, unlike Boko Haram’s ideological conflict in the Northeast.
He noted, “People accused me of planning to compensate bandits. But I’ve never paid them a single naira.”
