Hundreds of supporters from APC, PDP, and NNPP have officially joined ADC in a major political shift.
The ADC defections Katsina event drew citizens from all 34 Local Government Areas to a crowded launch ceremony.
Mustapha Inuwa, leading the ADC coalition in Katsina, welcomed defectors with party cards and a renewed political mission.
Lawal Batagarawa, speaking at the event, decried insecurity, inflation, and poverty under President Tinubu’s economic leadership since 2023.
He highlighted how multiple industries have collapsed and food prices soared, worsening suffering in already vulnerable communities statewide.
Batagarawa stressed unity and resilience among citizens as essential for building a stronger ADC ahead of the 2027 elections.
He added that ADC defections Katsina signal public frustration and renewed hope for real change through grassroots-driven governance.
Usman Musa Wamba, the ADC Chairman in Katsina, called for youth support to strengthen the party’s democratic engagement strategy.
He reaffirmed ADC’s commitment to fighting banditry, illiteracy, and unemployment through clear, people-focused policies and fair leadership.
Former APC loyalist Aliyu Saulawa described the ruling party’s promises as empty and disconnected from people’s real struggles.
He noted that the APC government has failed the North completely, especially in providing security and educational access.
According to him, ADC defections Katsina prove people are fed up with unkept promises and hunger-inducing government failures.
Saulawa, once the national coordinator for Tinubu’s campaign, said APC fulfilled less than one percent of its pledges.
He warned that without real security, farmers and merchants in the North are left without livelihoods or educational future.
Finally, he urged others to support ADC’s fresh vision, grounded in peace, progress, and real economic justice for all.
