At the 2025 National Cybersecurity Conference in Abuja, NSA Nuhu Ribadu declared Nigeria safer under Tinubu’s administration.
He stated that Nigeria is now more stable, secure, and investment-ready due to reforms and strategic government policies.
Ribadu dismissed criticisms from opposition leaders as desperate noise from “expired politicians seeking lost relevance and attention.”
According to him, Nigeria safer under Tinubu isn’t just rhetoric — it’s backed by facts and recent security gains.
He highlighted security improvements in the South-East and Niger Delta, crediting joint efforts and stronger digital monitoring systems.
“South-East is returning to peace. Niger Delta is calm. Anyone causing unrest from abroad will face consequences,” Ribadu said.
Ribadu described President Tinubu as a visionary, educated and digital leader who understands Nigeria’s modern security challenges.
“Those who underestimate him do so at their own peril — Tinubu’s leadership is changing Nigeria for the better,” he said
.
He criticised opposition voices and media pundits for clinging to old narratives instead of contributing to nation-building.
“These are the same people who looted Nigeria. Now they pretend to care. Nigerians are too smart for that,” Ribadu noted.
He emphasized that Nigeria safer under Tinubu means a stable investment environment for both local and international investors.
“Our cybersecurity infrastructure is stronger than ever. Nigeria is open for tech, telecom, and global investment,” he added.
Ribadu called on tech giants and telecom firms to leverage Nigeria’s position as Africa’s digital growth hub.
“We’re partnering with innovators. The future belongs to those who see Nigeria’s rise and join us early,” he said.
He urged citizens to ignore political distractions and unite behind President Tinubu’s bold national transformation vision.
“Let’s stop listening to expired voices. Focus on our progress. Nigeria safer under Tinubu is a fact,” Ribadu concluded.
