Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has firmly declared that Ondo State will support Tinubu 2027 re-election bid.

He also declared that no coalition seeking Tinubu’s ouster will thrive.

Speaking in Akure while receiving hundreds of notable opposition politicians, the governor emphasized the state’s united backing for President Bola Tinubu.

The defectors included former Labour Party deputy governorship candidate Hon Dayo Awude and other prominent opposition figures from PDP and SDP.

According to Aiyedatiwa, Ondo State remains a stronghold of the All Progressives Congress with no space for coalition politics.

He stressed that people join political parties for various reasons; however, party interest must override individual political ambitions always.

“Our declaration for Asiwaju is that Ondo State stands solidly for Tinubu’s re-election in 2027,” Aiyedatiwa stated.

He explained that the ruling APC aims to secure overwhelming votes in the next general election, surpassing previous margins.

While praising the defectors, Aiyedatiwa described their decision as timely and strategic ahead of the crucial as Ondo state will support Tinubu 2027 re-election

He said the ruling party remains the right political home for anyone committed to sustaining good governance and national development.

According to him, retaining political power requires unity, commitment, and readiness to take every necessary step towards victory always.

The governor assured the defectors that their loyalty would be acknowledged and rewarded within the APC’s leadership framework statewide.

He pointed out that the dividends of good governance are already visible under Tinubu’s administration and his leadership in Ondo.

Furthermore, he urged new members to work actively towards mobilizing grassroots support and ensuring massive voter turnout in 2027.

He concluded by reiterating that Ondo State supports Tinubu 2027 fully, and the APC’s dominance remains unshakable in the region.
