The Osun APC governorship election is fast approaching, and President Bola Tinubu has called for unity within the party. His meeting with party leaders and aspirants in Abuja focused on building consensus, strengthening party discipline, and improving the APC’s chances of winning the upcoming poll.
Tinubu Meets Osun APC Leaders and Aspirants
On Wednesday, President Tinubu met with leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, along with governorship aspirants. The meeting, which took place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, stressed the importance of teamwork ahead of the party primary scheduled for December 13.
To strengthen this message, Tinubu reminded aspirants that party supremacy must guide the selection of the final candidate. According to a statement from his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, the president emphasized unity as the key to victory in the Osun APC governorship election.

Tinubu’s Message of Unity
Tinubu urged aspirants to respect the outcome of the primary election and support the chosen candidate. He added that their collective responsibility is to ensure victory for the APC in Osun State.
“You must strengthen unity, party supremacy, and collective responsibility,” he said.
