Thomas Tuchel’s England revolution has officially begun, as the newly appointed manager welcomed his squad to St
George’s Park on Monday. The team is gearing up for their World Cup qualifying campaign, which kicks off with
matches against Albania and Latvia.
Marcus Rashford, Jordan Henderson, and Dan Burn were among the players who reported for duty, marking a new era
for English football. Rashford, who has been in impressive form on loan at Aston Villa, earned a recall to the squad
after a year-long absence.
Henderson, who was surprisingly left out of England’s squad for Euro 2024, was also welcomed back into the fold by
Tuchel. The former Liverpool captain was seen sharing a warm hug with the manager, as well as his teammates,
including Rashford and Jude Bellingham.
Dan Burn, the Newcastle defender, was another player who earned a maiden call-up to the England squad. The 32-
year-old was seen beaming with pride as he arrived at St George’s Park, just hours after winning the Carabao Cup with
Newcastle.
Tuchel’s squad assembly marked a significant moment in his tenure as England manager. The German tactician has
been tasked with revitalizing the team’s fortunes after a disappointing Euro 2024 campaign.
